Who We Are

The conference has been organized by UCSB doctoral alumni:

The conference is hosted and supported by the Department of Film and Media Studies, and is further supported by grants from the Carsey-Wolf Center and the College of Letters and Sciences at UC Santa Barbara, and donations from Professors Anna Everett and Bhaskar Sarkar, and the Global Media Technologies and Cultures Lab.

Kathy Carnahan was an honored guest at this conference. She served as the program/department manager for Film and Media Studies for 30+ years.
